Excellent job. PS5 hdmi port needed fixing and did a clean and now the ps5 is like new. No noise at all! Highly recommend for avid gamers. Clean that ps5 before it dies!

Just called them in a total panic after a BIOS update locked me out of my computer. Incredibly helpful and reassuring, first offering to sort it on the day by arranging a drop off, and then, instead, called me and went through step by step instructions on the phone in order to try and sort the issue and save me an unnecessary trip...which worked! Will defo be using them again

My son's PS5 kept over heating and turning its self off. I found We Make IT Happen online and the service was great. It was easy to book, drop off and pick up. Jacob recently helped me fix a laptop which I had broken through “coding practice”. He helped me to fix what I broke, reinstall windows and also code/program the things that I was trying to do. He gave me many options for how I wanted it completed, kept me up to date with his work, and the price options were very reasonable. I was a bit unsure to leave it at the house (as office is further away) but he took great care of my laptop, and now it works like a dream.

Brilliant service from start to finish. My laptop kept losing its internet connection so they reinstalled Windows, cleaned it inside and out and upgraded the RAM. All in just a few hours on a Sunday afternoon !!
Jacob was friendly and explained everything clearly from the beginning.
George, who carried out the repair was incredibly welcoming, professional and paid attention to every little detail. He even offered my son some water and fruit while we waited, which was a really thoughtful gesture.
When I got the laptop back, I honestly thought it was a brand new machine.

Jacob and his team were amazing. Price was fair, and the repair was very quick - these guys work day and night to ensure delivering in very short times. I was receiving constant updates of the process, with photos and videos, literally from early morning to very late at night. Hopefully, I won’t need a lap top repair ever again, but if I do - I know where to go.

After struggling to build my PC for two days, I brought it in at 4 pm, and they had everything fixed the same day. I just want to give a huge **10/10 review** to *We Make IT Happen* for helping me with my cooler installation.
From start to finish, the service was absolutely outstanding. Not only did they do an incredible job with the install, but they also kept me fully updated throughout the entire process with photos, videos, and clear explanations — which really gave me confidence in the work being done.
The turnaround time was excellent, much quicker than I expected, and what really stood out was their aftercare support. When I had a few follow-up questions and minor issues, they responded quickly and were more than happy to help.
A big shoutout to **Jacob**, who was my main point of contact, and **George**, who carried out the work — both were fantastic. It was also really good value for money, and they even gave my PC a proper clean, which was a great bonus.
Genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had — professional, reliable, and very customer-focused. Highly recommended!

Great experience. Always a worry when handing over your expensive goods but Jacob / George did an amazing speedy job even though it was me who was short on time. Jacob kept me informed with pics and quick replies - communication is top in my opinion. Fixed my laptop screen in no time (ribbon issue), a good clean, replaced heat pads & thermal paste. Very pleased and will be referring him more business in the future!

Damaged my device, refused to acknowledge fault, and refused to hand it back.
I sent my laptop here for a straightforward charging port repair. While they did fix the port, they returned my laptop with the keyboard backlight completely broken—a feature that was working perfectly before I handed it over.
When I contacted Jakob to resolve this, the response was shocking. Instead of investigating, he became defensive and aggressive. The conversation on WhatsApp turned nasty very quickly; he was effectively shouting at me, refusing to acknowledge the damage they caused, and accusing me of being dishonest. He even had the nerve to demand a further £90 to fix the issue they caused.
At that point, I lost all patience and trust and simply wanted to collect my laptop. This is where it got scary. Jakob became obstructive and tried to stop me from picking it up. He insisted I come back the next day, claiming the shop was "closed," even though he was clearly there on site. I genuinely felt like he was holding my laptop hostage.
This was a very distressing experience. Mistakes happen, but the aggression, the accusations of lying, and the refusal to return my property are unacceptable. Do not trust this place with your hardware.

Five-star service from Jacob! My dead laptop is back to life thanks to his expert motherboard repair and advanced diagnostics. He went above and beyond by cleaning the system, refreshing the thermal paste, and boosting the RAM to 16GB. Now I'm running Windows 11 smoothly and, most importantly, I have all my data back. My gaming desktop completely died—no power, no lights, nothing. I was worried I’d need a whole new motherboard, but Jacob found a short on the board and sorted it out overnight. Jacob at We Make It Happen just finished a major upgrade to our home network. We had dead spots everywhere, but he installed a professional TP-Link Omada system with three ceiling-mounted Access Points (APs) and a dedicated router.
The best part is the seamless roaming—the network name is the same everywhere, and the signal is perfect in every single corner of the house. We were so impressed with the neatness of the cabling and the technical setup that we are now having him install our CCTV system. Highly professional and clearly knows his networking!

My MacBook Pro feels brand new again!
I took it to We Make It Happen because it was getting slow and couldn't run the latest apps. Jacob replaced the old SATA HDD with a high-speed SSD and did a clean install of the newest MacOS version. He even managed to upgrade the RAM, which made a massive difference in speed. It’s rare to find someone who knows Mac hardware this well and offers such a fair price. We will definitely be coming back for all our tech needs!!

These guys know what they’re doing! Very good communication, work time, and effort. They even go as far as to send you videos of the test they run and updates of your system. I built my first pc and had an issue with my CPU a year into ownership. These guys found the issues made me aware of it, and every other possible issue as well. Even going as far as to educate me on the test they ran and everything. As well they even assisted in adding adapters to cables that were loose to connecters on my motherboard that I didn’t even ask them to add that made sure of a more secure connection to prevent anything from happening in the future. I would suggest them to anyone who ever has an issues with any system 10/10.

Recently, my PC began failing—persistent crashes, slowdowns, and finally, a total refusal to boot. After trying every fix I could think of, I realised I needed expert help.
I chose a local repair centre based on recommendations and positive reviews. Their professionalism stood out from the start. The technician listened to my concerns and clearly explained their diagnostic approach and potential costs.
After a quick diagnosis, the technician found major faults in the motherboard. The MB was old so they offered to replace CPU, RAM, and HDD. I agreed to replace all four components, with clear guidance provided on each option and cost.
Once the new parts were installed, Windows was set up, drivers updated, and the system configured. My PC came back running smoothly, with no lingering issues.

I took my laptop to Jacob in Cambridge because the display was breaking up. The problem was the display itself so I left it with him for for a couple of hours to replace it. I was kept informed with several messages showing the progress and when complete I went to collect it. Jacob gave it a thorough test and I left very happy with the work done. I highly recommend We Make it Happen and I would use them again.

How much does a custom PC cost?
It depends on what you need. Tell us your budget and how you will use the PC, and we will suggest a build and confirm the full price before ordering any parts.
Can you build a PC using parts I already have?
Yes. Where your existing parts suit the build we can reuse them. Message us a list of what you have and we will advise.
How long does a build take?
Once the parts are in, we assemble, set up and test your PC in our workshop. We will give you a realistic timescale when we confirm the parts and price.
Where can I collect my PC?
By appointment from our Cambridge or Dagenham locations. Use our online booking page or message us to arrange a time.
Can you upgrade my current PC instead of building a new one?
Often, yes. We upgrade graphics cards, memory and storage, clean and refresh thermal paste, and install Windows 11. See our PC upgrades page or message us for advice.
