Lost data right now? Do this first
- Stop using the device. Every minute it runs can overwrite the files you want back.
- Do not save anything new on it and do not install recovery software on the same drive you are trying to recover.
- Do not run repair tools (such as chkdsk or Disk Utility repair) on a drive that is clicking, very slow or not detected.
- Do not open the drive or put it in the freezer. Both can make the damage worse.
- After a spill: switch off, unplug and do not try to power it on again.

It depends on the problem and on the device, so we do not quote a price without looking at it. You get a free quote and analysis, and we explain your options before any work is done.
How long does data recovery take?
We aim to complete recoveries within about 2 weeks. After the first analysis we can give you a more exact time for your case.
My laptop will not turn on. Can I still get my photos and files back?
In many cases the drive inside is fine and the files can be copied to another drive. If the drive itself is damaged, we explain the options first, including our specialist partner for severe cases.
Can you recover files I deleted?
Sometimes. The sooner you stop using the device, the better the chance, because new files can overwrite the deleted ones. Do not install anything on that drive.
Can you recover data from a phone, USB stick or memory card?
We work with phones, USB sticks, memory cards, hard drives, SSDs and computers. Tell us the make and model and what happened, and we will tell you what is possible.
What if you cannot recover my data?
For work we do in our own lab, if we cannot recover your valuable data you only pay for carriage. The postage when you send media is paid by the customer and is not refundable.
